The dice have been thrown. With the current fall television season in full swing, the conversation has changed from eager expectations and sizzling buzz to cold, hard numbers.
The pre-season hype and chatter is over for fall TV and there have already been two significant victims -- Fox's critically-lauded "Lone Star" and ABC's much-publicized "My Generation." Meanwhile HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" has managed to meet its pre-season buzz while attracting 13.6 million viewers for the series premiere along with the role of a lifetime for Steve Buscemi. "Glee" has continued to show growth (and guest-stars) to avoid any sophomore slump for Fox's last season phenom. Meanwhile CBS's gamble to move "The Big Bang Theory" to anchor the Thursday night 8 p.m. slot has paid off with explosive numbers. Check in here to follow your ratings news.
